By the end of the programme, participants will have a practical understanding of acting technique, on-camera performance, and the confidence to take their next steps in the industry.Programme structure may adapt slightly to suit the cohort and guest facilitators. No previous acting experience required. This programme is designed specifically for beginners.

Creative Careers South Africa has delivered skills-based training programmes, workshops, and development initiatives across the arts and creative industries since 2019.Our work spans acting, writing, performance, and professional development, with programmes delivered in collaboration with universities, theatres, arts organisations, and cultural institutions across South Africa.Facilitators across our programmes include university lecturers, professional directors, writers, performers, and creative practitioners actively working in film, television, theatre, and education.Each programme is designed with a strong focus on practical skill transfer, industry insight, and professional readiness, particularly for emerging and early-career creatives.Through our work, we have partnered with and delivered programmes alongside some of South Africa’s leading arts, education, and cultural institutions.
